High altitude A Shau Valley pix that I got from the internet.	a A Shau Valley taken from over FSB Rendezvous, spring of '70. I was with HHC 2nd Bde. The FSB was closed and no friendlies were in the valley at the time. We had engineers in the back seat who were accessing the damage to the road leading the A Shau. We had a cobra covering us.

Combat Assault east of Quang Tri.	At LZ Sally. A hunter killer team was near the A Shau Valley. The pilot got shot. The observer, who had no flight experience took the controls. The Cobra pilot talked him back to Sally but he couldn't hover. The observer walked away but the pilot was already dead.

	That airstrip we flew out of near the DMZ (Mai Loc).
